Hey, I've seen a lot of conflicting info on this so I wanted to ask directly.
I'm 18 legally but have a confirmed bone age of ~14-15 (wrist X-ray done March 9th), with plates still clearly open (constitutional growth delay, same as my father).
My Accutane history : 5 months at 30mg/day (60kg), relapsed 3 months after stopping, then restarted with 1 month at 40mg + 2 months at 50mg. Finished the second course about 3 weeks ago.
My questions :
Many thanks in advance.

My questions :
- Does Accutane realistically affect vertical growth/final height ?
- Does my profile (delayed bone age, open plates) make me more at risk ?
- Since my plates were still wide open on March 9th, before the 50mg phase, does that suggest Accutane hadn't accelerated closure up to that point ? Or is the risk more about what happens during/after higher doses ?
Many thanks in advance.
