OP bench is an overrated meme , you will wreck your shoulders overtime. Just do pec fly machine and focus on good form and getting a pump, also try a beginner cycle like 40mg dbol a day for 4 weeks, then 2 weeks off for liver health and 4 weeks on again.

tall torso for lower center of gravity, ideal for being stable while lifting heavy weight
short arms for small range of motion while lifting the barbell
i'm not sure which east asian descent are you, but olympic weightlifting is ingrained into chinese culture, it must be big into other east asian countries too



olympic weightlifting is an awesome sport for muscle and strength. this might be the sport for your genetics, try it and report back.

129.5lbs 1RM

Guess pushups are a little less than 0.6xbw in lbs, maybe form

2-3 months in I could rep 135 lbs.\

Most I ever maxxed out is 205 or 225, I cant remember\

Now I have LDARd and lost all my gains, and probably 1 rep max 115 again

Is this normal?

@op I have nothing to add other than that some of the best aesthetic physiques comes from naturally small guys who have good delt insertions besides having a narrow frame. Which is why Asian men can look aesthetic af but only once they start to roid, otherwise they tend to be shit tier at putting on mass and having strength. But Asian insertions are super good when roided.

Definitely get brutally mogged when natty though and are naturally very weak. I started out with like a 180 bench I think but will always just be a size based mogger, I have a narrow waist but not nearly as narrow as some Asians I've seen. Also lean towards being heavy set versus Asians which lean towards lean.

This is not a "genetic" issue. True, you may have below average genetics for strength, but 135 pounds should be attainable for everyone, including women.

Your issue is BODY WEIGHT. You need to train consistently while gaining weight consistently. I'm not talking about a food intake where your weight increases for two weeks a month and drops for two weeks a month, I'm talking about gaining weight week after week with consistent training. You WILL gain strength.

Bench press is a lift that is highly correlated to body weight. Light guys will never have the highest benches in the world.

Tbf there are 2 types of gifted strength-cels that exist:

Group #1 - The group that is naturally strong asf from day 1. I think it can mostly be attributed to big frame + lots of fast twitch muscle fibres. You'll find people that can bench 2-3 plates without having ever touched a weight.

Group #2 - Have the genetics to make very quick neuromuscular adaptions + have much higher neuromuscular efficiency. Also respond very well to volume/frequency + have low fatigue so recovery quickly. Throw in above average muscle-building genetics and you have a strength freak. In this group you'll have people struggling to bench 50kg on day 1, but benching 3-4 plates by the end of the year.

Both group #1 and #2 are very genetically gifted. The elite of the elite will have a combo of #1 and #2.

I must ROPE. I don’t wanna get strong by lifting, lifting, and lifting. Months and years of hardcore training for what—just to barely match the strengths of AVERAGE males?

Average Western males’ DEFAULT strengths brutally mog what my future , ADVANCED-level (5+ years of training) strength will be. I got shit genes: recessed cranial bones, micro-manlet height, small frame, light body weight, low default muscle mass, and East Asian descent.
If you’re just a beginner that’s fine. Just workout and see where it takes you. If you need steroids do it. The world doesn’t he type anything for playing „fair“. It never was fair in the first place.

How much does having longer arms impede my bench press? My reach is about 6'4 and I'm 6'2

I went to the gym once with my friend, it was push day and I couldn't even do 30kg on the bench press. I did reps for 27.5kg, 20kg (the bar), 25kg etc and I was too tired after

The weird thing is I can do about 5 push ups, and I weigh over 90kg
