Old one before I started going was upper lower break push pull legs break. And I would train each lift up to 6 reps and then increase the weight 5-10 pounds. Is still a good way to train? Or is there some secret new method. Kind of a stupid question but I feel like it’s better to ask so I don’t just waste time.

Yea still a great way to train. Some people say 3x/week frequency of hitting a muscle is better, but studies don't show significant differences.

Yeah I hear 2x is the best but even if 3 was better the most lifting days I can do in a week is 5, maybe I could squeeze in 6 but realistically I can’t do more than 5.

You recommend anything for the number of sets? Like how many should I be doing per each muscle group per week.
idrk I do between 4-8 sets per muscle group almost all of them to failure or 0RIR depending on their importance
