Going to a top Ivy League or Oxbridge is honestly such a massive fucking halo

Tier 1 in UK in stem plus mba later on. Not gonna give more details.
I didn't read all this shit thread but do you guys really believe that women lust after a fucking piece of paper? jfl. Best case scenario is ending in a top wagecucking position and getting some low tier golddigger. Credentialist women who learn about my credentials never gave hints that they were ready to suck my cock in a nearby toilet, like they sure did during their own college years. A prestigious degree, shit even all the money/status in the world is not gonna grant you the same privileges as Chad.
bath is not tier 1

btw no ones saying a highly sought after degree is gonna make you 8PSL in anyones eyes, but it does give you the ability to find a good career that you at least somewhat enjoy. This means you can looksmax, live comfortably, spend money on copes like travelling etc. The people who say 'looks are everything' are the same people who don't looksmax and just rot.

I already posted this in another thread but I'll post it again:

I remember someone said the UK despite all it's talk on being open is actually a prime example of an elitist aristocracy ruling. Even more than other western nations which makes sense since they still have a royal family.

The vast majority of PM including current one, BoJo went to both Oxford and a good high school. Gordon Brown has a 1st hon and a phd but coz he only went to Edinburgh (non medicine major) everyone kept shitting on him. They pretty much went 180 by electing the next PM, David Cameron who is elitist as fuck (Eton, Oxford PPE 1st class etc). Btw BoJo actually was friends with David Cameron in during his time at BOTH Eton and Oxford.

Not to mention almost like half the parliament are millionaires who probably also went to good schools (meaning well connected name)

Elitism in UK really is on another level compared to other countries. Maybe thats why they don't vote labour anymore. At least Tony Blair went to Oxford. Meanwhile Corbyn never went to uni so maybes that's why they don't want him in.

TL;DR In UK, Go high or go home

I read your aspie classification before responding.
No mate, you sound like a Uni of Bath aulmni.

An Oxford or Cambridge graduate would not shy away from revealing their alma mater - why would they, when Oxbridge is such a halo?

There's nothing wrong with attending Bath, just like there's nothing wrong with attending Boston U. Like I said, they're both decent universities.

At least you don't go to Brighton.

Getting into Oxbridge is almost a requirement to enter politics. I didn't realise how many British PMs were Oxford graduates until I searched them up.

Not just politics. Their society is very elitists and biased towards Oxbridge people. Classicism at its finest.

For example look at the following:

You might be going wait a minute, this list is full of British Comedians! Hugh Laurie, Stephen Fry, John Oliver, Monty Pyton etc!

Thats right they all went to Cambridge and went to here. The only famous guy I know who didn't go is Rowan Atkinson aka Mr Bean. He went to Oxford instead. What a loser!

I have been writing about how many leaders of the world (even USA) are not having so many elitist credentials these days. But I don't think that will apply to UK. I think its literally part of their culture to be elitist and classist

No wonder so many people in the UK hate it over there lol. Its not blatant but there's clear disdain for the non-elite class.

Better be careful though. One day the working class just might have enough and decide to revolt.

Straight to larping accusations I see, just because I don't subscribe to your credentialist worldview. Yes, oxbridge is a halo especially for wagecucking and family friends. But it's not enough to make you genuinely attractive for women. Maybe suitable enough for LTR but casual sex is all that matters afaic.
Besides, I don't value credentials because most truly wealthy individuals that I've dealt with or heard about had subpar education, or none at all in some cases. But w/e keep coping.

Christ that's insane. US politics and IB/wall street jobs are obviously heavily biased toward Ivy qualifications, but in entertainment nobody gives a shit where you studied.

Oxbridge will genuinely elevate you from chadlite to chad, and from chad to gigachad. No, it won't save you if you are 4PSL balding manlet, but the retards on this forum who constantly espouse the philosophy of absolute lookism are simply deluded. I need to exaggerate to get the point across.

Don't get me wrong. US is still very elitist too. But non-ivies etc still can stand and chance of do decently well.

UK on the other hand, even if you somehow made it, if you're not from the elite background, people will probably not hesitate to remind you that you don't belong here. Eg John Major.

Funny how Australia and Canada don't seem to share this elitism.

In Australia nobody outside of law gives that much of a shit whether you went to a GO8 or not, as long as its not a completely trash tier university. A Usyd or Unimelb degree doesn't offer that much of an advantage over a Macquarie or Deakin degree. In Canada, Im not even sure they have an official group of 'top universities' akin to the Ivy League, Russell Group, Group of 8...

I'm 4psl-ish and balding jfl so you got that right.
But I still maintain that money and status don't really boost raw ONS sexual appeal. I'm on the fence about extreme social savviness and social skills, humor etc.. But all credentials do in my experience is make you a fatter prey for pre-wall roasties looking for a betabux. And you don't even get the high-tier ones since most are now holding out for a legit millionaire.

At one point every timezone had to answer to the British Crown and London. And I'm not even talking about the grey countries that had massive indirect influence from London.

are you looksmaxxing, be honest

I'm just getting started but I'm oldcel now. I was blackpilled since the early puahate days but I stopped lurking before surgery talk really started. I only came back recently and got blackpilled about surgeries.

I'm willing to blow a good part of my savings as soon as travel restrictions are lifted. I have horrible collagen, nw4-5, weak jawline, long-ish midface okay-ish but improvable eye area. I figured that I could add a full psl point, 1.5 if I'm lucky.
I already started fin, had a few laser sessions for acne scars, already gymcelled. I'm getting HT next month, and a surgery rampage hopefully next year.

happy to hear you haven't given up tbh

good luck with all of that, plenty of users who can give advice about specific surgeries etc. Even if you missed out on teen love & have limited options for dating you can still get laid, plus your quality of life will improve substantially & at the end of the day it's about validation not necessarily sex. Get on tretinoin, idk just how old you are but you need to slow any further aging.

Yeah I had help from many users, my plan is laid out but I don't have high expectations to become Chad or Chadlite or anything. I just wanna improve now that I know it's possible. I'm 28 and I learned to accept my lot in life.

Retin A is lifefuel actually, I started it last month and it helped a lot, I still need a lot of work tho. Acne scars are brutal.

Good luck on your side.

I can afford around 50-60k max, but if I go with top surgeons, it's gonna cost me double, triple or more. So I have to be ultra careful with money.
I didn't even list everything. I'll need HT, bimax, maybe additional jaw or chin implants depending on the result, zygo implants (only with eppley), lateral augmentation cantho and lower lid retraction (only Taban). I'm tired of contacts so I'm contemplating lasik, and I have shit-stained eyeballs so I'll be first in line for stroma. I'm also considering some procedure/fillers for a wider fuller mouth/lips, maybe botox to lower eyebrows. Skin care also costs money etc...

So if I want to do everything asap I'll have to do bimax in India for around 5-10k with Vikram Shetty. I'm seriously considering it tbh. And I will still have to forgo some procedures or borrow money/wagecuck for a few more years.

Becoming a tradie is still a better option, uni is just depressing.
Damn it’s gotten this bad JFL but then again everyone wants an easy well paid office job so now wonder colleges and unis are over crowded with people.

'qualified' sorry but a bonobo ape with an engineering degree from plymouth doesn't count as qualified

once you trim the fat & useless degrees it's way less jfl

what is the best unis for cs in uk. I was considering applying to Manchester, bath, Warwick, Edinburgh . I would like to go to Imperial but London is expensive and there is like a 5:1 ratio of males to females in mathematics related fields

Getting into Oxbridge is really difficult and to be honest without certain level of intelligence you will struggle to not get fired out of your major. Not to mention the whole academic rat race pressure, interviews which give me heart attacks. Frankly academic path isn’t the best choice for really gifted people either (in financial terms)

They used to be real genetic elite, now they are full of affirmative action niggers and jews, and few genetic elites.
Nevertheless i know a guy who went to an Ivy League on a SCHOLARSHIP for a post grad course and ended up with an ugly gook as spouse (he met her there) and now has hapa kids, who look nothing like him. He was tall and handsome, and obviously intelligent, and his kids may just be future ERs.

Academia is all about trying to prove you're smarter than/mog an increasingly specialized audience. You don't care about what anyone else (normies) thinks. They don't know anything about what you do, so their uninformed opinions are totally irrelevant--in fact, they're just irritating. I have a PhD from an Ivy, work in academia, know countless others in the same situation. Success is relative: it's no longer about 99% of the population.

Most people I know burn out and become normie data scientists, etc. Most of what's left are obsessed with adding lines on their CV to become professors--almost equally empty, in my opinion.
