So ~500mg per day of hyaluronic acid may increase bone formation, plus you get better skin.
You can safely go for 1-2g per day, in theory even higher.

If height increase via stretching works then likely when used in combination
But when plates are closed think of it as setting your morning height to your night height and increasing your morning height slightly. Like 1cm after months of stretching, HA may benefit the process.

It's approved as a supplement, safety has been addressed regarding cancer.
Even in studies with rodents with cancer, it doesn't accelerate growth.

I'm saying hyaluronic acid supplementation, at a certain dose, leads to increased bone formation and thus height since it has been shown to significantly improve bone healing/regeneration.
I extrapolated data from the rodent study with the right conventions
At 500mg there should be a positive effect on bone formation on humans
You may benefit from like 2g per day or more since you only absorb 10%.

Update
Glucosamine is also a substrate for the biosynthesis of polymers such as glycosaminoglycans, e.g., hyaluronic acid which is composed of repeating units of the dimer N-acetyl glucosamine (glucuronic acid)

Glucosamine is often inculded in height stacks, the main pathway being involved hyaluronic acid syntheses.

Recomended and optimal dose for glucosamine is 1500mg per day, ideally separated in 12h appart to stabilize plasma concentrations, 500mg is also fine. I wouldn't take over 3g per day.

There is a concern a dose of glucasamine too high can have higly inhibitory effects, but concentrations in tissues may differ from those in plasma, but just to be sure. Your absortion is also limited so you will just excrete it.

Physiological plasma GlcN concentrations in human adults ingesting a typical dose of GlcN supplement of 1500 mg/day (20 mg/kg in a 75 kg subject), ranged from 150 μM to 300 μM25 and reached the 10 mM range after repeated doses30. Our results showed that maximal enhancement of the chondrogenic phenotype by GlcN treatment was achieved at 100 μM, while higher doses were in fact inhibitory to both MSCs and chondrocytes. Others have also reported similar protective effects at physiological doses of GlcN, and chondrocyte toxicity has been associated with GlcN concentrations exceeding 10 mM in vitro18, 25, 31.

Hyaluronic acid seems to have better clinical data and may provide a better results than glucosamine.
