genuinely spent last 3 nights figuring out how it might be possible to induce regeneration of epiphyseal cartilage capable of doubling and dividing, after it has fully ossified. What can actually be done to grow? Like genuinely please feed me some high iq theory I need hope.. my depression has worsened

In 2020 and 2021 there was many high IQ users on this forum who worked on various theories for this. Most of the interesting discussions moved to discord however so you won’t find the useful stuff on here.

I’m willing to share but only if you can demonstrably prove you are high IQ and you can help make meaningful advances in this field of broscience. We all moved on from it due to lack of success and the most promising ideas have been slept on for years because they were too costly to try.

It’s not sarcasm. I could practically write a thesis on stem cell biology with how deep I went into this shit.

But you’re clearly failing at proving you are high IQ if you couldn’t even read this:

Over for you. PM me with what you’ve learnt so far and I’ll decide whether you’re worth talking to

I did read the sentence, with my statement I aimed to show willingness to try and prove high iq sensei:hnghn:

Well you can't but you can still height fraud with shoes and grown hair

I'm not an expert, and I haven't been up to date with the recent literature, but as far as reactivating growth plates as an adult, let's say you can manipulate signaling pathways, where would you get the cartilage cells chondrocytes from?

The whole idea of epiphyseal plate growth is basically the competition between dividing chondrocytes and their death, followed by ossification of the cartilage tissue. When the plate becomes a line, there is no more cartilage that will serve as the basis for division and growth.

You can theoretically (or maybe even practically, I am no expert) manipulate those tissues upon injuries in children but they still have the chondrocytes. How would that work in adults?
