Homemade Facepull Question

I made the CopeAndRope's infraoral appliance, and completed it with help from @nelson (thank you!)

Right now the appliance fits against my palate, but I can't close my bite. Will this cause me to develop an overbite?

Also asking anyone who has actually worn this device.

If you can't close the bite that means that you need to cut off a bit of acrylic on the corners behind the teeth.

Found my problem.



I think I threw off the angle when I repaired it after it initially broke. I'll need to build another one. Good thing I bought more than one facebow

Yeah, getting this professionally made if at all possible is cheaper and easier.
