how do I ask my dentist for a palate expander?

How do I ask them? might be overthinking it, I'm not sure, but I feel like my parents would say something if I got it all of a sudden, or the doctor would say there's no need for one since my teeth are fine.

Just tell them what you want and why. If you are willing to pay for it its guaranteed they will give you one. The whole point of their job is to extract as much money as possible from you.

overthinking it, ask them? eg what's your professional opinion on me getting a pallet extender doesn't have to be in Premium English just tell them what does a dentist think and rmb that the opinion of a dentist is far more superior than a face rater or sm1 on org

I asked my orthodontist once about it, he said it wouldn’t make sense for me at all and just yapped around but I would’ve gotten one if I really insisted on it.

i had one because i had some fucked up overbite, pretty sure you just ask for there opinion on it and if you push it enough theyll give you it, no harm in it
