Yes I am pretty sure, just don't zoom in or out because it will change the proportions.

It all cancels out, the units do not matter. For instance if you have 2 units / 1 unit, this will be 2 units. If you zoom out by a factor of 2, you have 4 units / 2 units = 2 units.
