people will tell you the usual "weight training, plyos, etc" but in reality you cant jump higher than what your body can absorbe when it comes down. Just like your body cant accelerate faster than it can decelerate. I want to train my body in a way that will work, not tip of the iceberg shit

It worked from me, my vert went from 38 to 42 from massai jumps in 1 year. + look at vids of them jumping, they might have superior african physically genetics, but its achievable through time.

explain why body cant accelerate faster than it can decelarate and the other way around?

Plyos is the way to go for increasing jump height, that shit you mentioned about bones not being able to absorb impact you needn't worry about, and the more resistance training you do your bones will get denser, although due to ut being high impact, don't do it everyday

What are you even trying to say?
how can i train my body to jump very high in the best way possible, i have come to the conclusion thats its not the strength and power of the jumping muscles that matters but the ability for the tendons and ligaments to be able to absorbe that much force to begin with. the more impact your body can absorb the more higher it will let you jump and etc

its not about bones, BONES WILL ADAPT TO THE PRESSURE/FORCE APPLIED TO THEM. THIS IS ABOUT TENDONS, FASCIA MAYBE, LIGAMENTS, MUSCLES

if you were high iq you would simply look at people who have a disproportionately high jump to however much they can absorbe and copy/combine what they did

look closely at .25, the ankles and feet of the child cant really support the weight of his body so they fall faster and more hard on the grownd, while the massai people can withstand and absorb all that impact and use it to jump higher. so then they land after jumping high their ankles slowly impact and use that force and make a spring effect

Higher very has nothing to do with looksmaxxing so you probably wont find the answer on this forum

Plyos do work tho and training quads and calves

Just jumping alot aswell

Im sure theres some jumpmaxx you could do by taking something to effect the muscle fibres in ur leg or some shit

Look up Kneesovertoesguy. Him and his clients have crazy hops and learn how to dunk in months of unconventional training. Overcoming plateaus and seeing more results than years of the normal training that other people do

Sorry man but I don't do any form of vertical jumps. I only practice cardio and that's it. My only guess is to find any means that may improve your explosiveness in your legs but that's not an actual solution. Try using chatgpt to see if you can find anything. This is the result I got for any suggestions regarding your case. It may be water but hope it helps.

CHATGPT RESULT:
Increasing your vertical jump height requires a combination of strength training, plyometrics, flexibility work, and proper technique. Here are some steps to help you improve your vertical jump:

  1. Strength Training:
    • Squats: Incorporate squats into your workout routine to build leg strength. Focus on both back squats and front squats.
    • Deadlifts: Deadlifts work your lower back, glutes, and hamstrings, helping you generate power for your jump.
    • Lunges: Lunges can help improve balance and leg strength. You can do forward, reverse, or lateral lunges.
  2. Plyometric Exercises:
    • Box Jumps: Stand in front of a sturdy box or platform and jump onto it. Focus on exploding off the ground and landing softly on the box.
    • Depth Jumps: Stand on a box or platform, step off, and as soon as you land, jump as high as you can.
    • Broad Jumps: Jump as far forward as you can, focusing on both distance and height.
  3. Core Strengthening:
    • A strong core is essential for stability and power during a jump. Incorporate exercises like planks, Russian twists, and leg raises into your routine.
  4. Plyometric Training:
    • Plyometric exercises involve quick, explosive movements. Examples include squat jumps, tuck jumps, and burpees. These exercises can improve your power and explosiveness.
  5. Flexibility and Mobility:
    • Proper range of motion is crucial for maximizing your jump. Stretch regularly to improve your flexibility, focusing on your hips, hamstrings, and calves.
    • Foam rolling can help release tension in muscles and improve mobility.
  6. Technique:
    • Work on your jumping technique to optimize your jump. Focus on a quick and explosive takeoff, driving your arms upward, and tucking your knees toward your chest.
    • Practice your landing technique to reduce the risk of injury. Land softly with your knees slightly bent.
  7. Rest and Recovery:
    • Adequate rest is essential for muscle recovery and growth. Make sure to get enough sleep and allow your muscles to recover between intense workouts.
  8. Nutrition:
    • Maintain a balanced diet that provides the necessary nutrients for muscle growth and recovery. Protein, carbohydrates, and healthy fats are essential for an athlete's diet.
  9. Consistency:
    • Consistency is key to seeing progress. Stick to your training plan and be patient, as it may take time to see significant improvements.
  10. Professional Guidance:
    • Consider working with a coach or trainer who specializes in vertical jump training. They can provide personalized guidance and help you create a structured training plan.
Remember that everyone's body is different, and progress may vary from person to person. It's important to stay committed to your training regimen and be patient with the process. Additionally, consult with a healthcare professional before beginning any new exercise program, especially if you have any pre-existing medical conditions or injuries.

True, but from so many jumps(even done not daily)u can get lower back pain and as u progress and get stronger legs the shock will be more and more on the lower back

yea man, its all about the face. until your manlet self goes to a basketball games and gets mogged by everyone
im 6'3" and i dont care about basketball

Countermovement jumps, weighted countermovement jumps, broad jumps, box jumps, unilateral weight training for legs, squats, deadlifts, improve technique etc...
