Im currently like 16% body fat and im gonna start working out harder everyday because im not losing any fat because im eating 4-5 thousand calories per day but anyways im wondering does having an extra maybe 5% bodyfat significantly affect how tall I will be?

just saying people are fatter then they think they are

ur probably 20%+ then

excess fat increase estrogen

too much estrogen -> premature closure of growth plates

but real 15% would be good

I believe it increases estrogen synthesis.
Estrogen contributes to accelerated growth plate closure.

It affects your bone structure more than your height

100%
I am 5'10 and rest of all of my male relatives + male cousins my age 5'4-5'7 with one 5'8 max. I was like 180lbs -> 160lbs around 17-19 years. The risk is that you stay fat so take in account if you have the discipline of becoming lean in a few years when you been fat your whole life or start lean maxing now so you can get laid when you go to college.

i have heard that if you lose weight in a short period of time a growth spurt can hit (going from fat to skinny but must a noticable amount of weight)

Being fat = more growth in all cases not cope with little estrogen increases
