How long? I know sometimes fasting for too long can actually have the reverse effect.

when you are leaner you are less resistant to insulin due to some metabolic benefits that occur and most likely due to overall improved health and diet(eating clean to get/stay lean obvs), this is why being lean puts your body in the best state for building muscle due to the lowered insulin resistance and why bulking too much or for too long will make you more likely to build resistance to insulin so adding more muscle will be capped or a lot harder and the obvious final answer which solves all questions regarding the body is to get proper sleep

Fasting- if you can do one meal a day that is perfect (afternoon or evenings)

Fasted exercise in the mornings, minimal stress during the day

No Carb /sugar diet. Preferably paleo diet (removing any modern day foods)

Apple cider vinegar in your water (acids blunt the blood sugar issues in food)

Supplements : Berberine (if you can tolerate it) + Tongkat Ali + Ashwaghanda for testosterone boost./hormone balance. Yes testosterone is key in insulin resistance.

Removing as many chemicals and modern day exposure as possible. Trying to live as close to "nature" as possible. Quality over Quantity.

The above will also help with alot of your other health metrics.

regulating insulin resistance is key, replace the word "blood sugar" with the "blood poison" and you get a more accurate description of how bad sugar is in the blood, it literally destroys every part of you slowly.

It is boring, but it is what it is. Modern day living is not natural and is intentionally harmful to your health. Even the tap water your drink is compromised.
