How to studymaxx?

First year college student.

Calculus and Chemistry are somewhat kicking my ass because I can barely focus / would rather do other things.

Anything that can help with focus and increase intelligence as well? Please help.
To help with focus, watch a youtube channel called "Cajun Koi Academy", they post great shit there on how to memorize and everything.

To help with increasing intelligence, make sure you get 8-9 hours of sleep, have a good diet, drinking lots of water, and are doing puzzles/mind excersizes to increase logic and comprehension skills.

OP this is basically the thing that made me go from a 2.0 to a 3.7 in HS years back.

Uni libraries are very good for studying, your uni might also have study rooms you can check out which are even better.
+1 for study rooms.

Also I think a lot of students underestimate the value of daily repetition.

Consider putting literally ONLY 1 hour of quality studying a day, that is 7 hours of studying a week. Not so hard is it? It's just 1 hour.

Now up that to 2 hours, you are now studying 14 hours a week, and so on.

Hell, if you find 1 hour hard, start with just 30 minutes. You just need to start.

The keys to success (generally) are habits.

Build and form habits asap (much like going to the gym) and you will succeed.

And things like study rooms / libraries allow for a suitable environment that support the implementation and building of those habits.

If you know how to utilize it properly, it can absolutely have you become someone you thought of as impossible before. Emphasis on the if. Many hyper-productive elites use this shit, don't get me wrong.

That said, the side effects might not suit you so you need to try and see if it's something you can stick with.
You'll need a strict regimen for what you'll use it for. Otherwise, you'll find yourself using it for everything.

Max. dosage and mandatory breaks as well because if you take too much, too often, you could quite frankly kill brain cells. There are a few other concerns with using it that everyone should consider prior to use. Albeit these are all things you learn if you do your due diligence before taking the drug.

As you see it's not all sunshine and rainbows, nevertheless, I reiterate what I said before. This can change your life for the better tremendously- if you don't go at it blind.
Are you talking about aderall or Ritalin?

Listening to brown noise while studying helps me immensely. The Adderall too, of course, but brown noise still makes a difference.

A few tips:
- Study in an environment with little to no distractions, if possible, do not study in the same room you sleep or do other stuff
- Turn off any gadgets, except the one required, ideally, keep them away as well

No substance will increase your intelligence but some can help with increased focus and concentration.
Such as;
- Modafinil
- Adderall
- Ritalin
- Caffeine
- Bromantane // Works surprisingly well with caffeine, at least for me, kept me wired for a few hours, not as wired as Adderall but you don't need to be.

Probably a couple I forgot but yeah, any of these substances can really help with focus.
What is the recommended daily dosage of Adderall?

Also why is studying in your room bad as long as you put your phone out of it? It's much quieter and better atmosphere than the library imo.

how do you stop finding reading so painfully boring and mind numbing, asking for a friend
you read non dogshit books. impossible in university though because the books they use are dogshit. the teachers are also dogshit (or at least like 85% of them)
