I never knew how rare it was to be White in the modern day and age

Did anyone else experience an awakening of how rare your skin color was at a late time

I was raised around white people and kids so it never really occurred to me how rare being pale was

When I got to MS I really started to see the diversity and lack of whites everywhere and realized we were a rare and dying breed

Did any other whites experience this epiphany?
