i think regular hiking for really long distances would come even closer to what our ancestors did. i don't see why our ancestors would be constantly jogging, they weren't hunting 24/7 after all.

The most likely hiked very long distances then sprinted when hunting. Doubt they jogged all that much.

yea yea, you're right. i doubt they were consciously thinking about conserving energy when they were in a hurry. it's either running as fast as you can or walking at a comfortable speed.

But fast running can f up your gains if you are going to gym, so slow running or fast walking is better

I do SRINTS of 10s and then walk until recover and do again

My understanding is that they were mostly jogging while hunting. You can see it in how modern day hunters in the Kalahari hunt. They just jog after an antelope for fucking days until it gets tired then shoot it with an arrow.

Just workout in general. Many people wonder why they’re fat and it’s because they stay in bed until 6 AM eating twinkies

Humans would jog and chase their pray until they fatigued and couldn’t run anymore and kill it, they light-moderate jogged for hours on end

You are correct. It should be aerobic, at a lowish heart rate. If your aerobic system is not developed, that may mean walking at first.

Aerobic system development takes a long time to build, and is done at low intensities for longer periods of time. I'm not even overweight, but I never developed mine properly. So that means walking for now to keep my heart rate purely aerobic.
