Invisible braces, who's had em'?

So I'm nearing the end of a custom fitted teeth bleaching tray system. My teeth are looking pretty close to pearly white, but I still have another week left of treatments.

I'm now thinking about invisalign or a cheaper substitute because my teeth aren't symmetrical in my mouth.

I wanted to see who here has done it and ask;
Did you have positive results? How often did you checkup with your dentist during the entire duration of treatment?
Was it crazy expensive overall?

Having white teeth is awesome but they won't be truly appreciated unless they have symmetry. Period.

They won't do anything to your maxilla if you're done growing; they just move teeth.

I might be a good candidate then as I only need all of my upper front teeth shifted towards the right. My upper teeth are out of alignment. Looking at my teeth straight on, I don't have two front teeth directly below my philtrum. They are shifted to the left.
