i alr have some fairly mild acne that surface all over my cheeks and chin, its more than likely bc my diet is kinda shit (very high gi foods) and ive lost the momentum of taking care of it with products; somedays i barely have the time or gull to splash some water on it

these past months or some ive put some thought into using insulin or sum like igf lr3 but i worry those compounds would take to me to acne 10x worser than mine. so if im doing something as “hardcore” as those substances, i would assume i should apply the same mindset to going straight to accutane?

however i just worry about those accutane side effects, specifically growth plate closure and everything else … is there any alt to accutane for insulin related thangs?:forcedsmile::forcedsmile::forcedsmile::forcedsmile::forcedsmile:

growth hormone specifically upregulates collegen synthesis so it improves skin, however igf-1 levels are associated with higher sebum production so you may get more oily skin it is person dependant. 20mg of accutane can be run forever basically tho and is well worth it for all the benefits.

accutane is pretty much the best thing for a boy to take to get rid of the acne. Take a low dose like 10-20mg for about 1 year or so. You will not have much side effects besides dry lips and dry skin, nothing like growth place closing or so

is the growth plate closing just a myth? even then im considering using AI’s whilst on accutane so idk if that will help out … what do u have to say about the effects on the liver though? ive seen many people use supplements like NAC or milk thistle to mitigate them

Bro accutane is good don't listen to them, I'm on 20mg and i take 4000 iu vitamin d3, 2400mg omega d3, and 10mg of any antihistamine. It's good for mild acne there's really no way to mess up
