on the other hand i didnt put too much attention into it before, is that iris coverage still natural?

i think the problem is the bulginess. if you have bulgy eyes your lower eyelid cant be too high because that is just unnatural?

Same logic with a fat bulgy lower lid.
But I agree a lower lid that’s too high in a neutral position looks unnatural and squinched. This is usually more than 2 mm covering the bottom part of iris
