Speaking about semi socialist eu countries ofcourse, how are kids expensive exactly? When they are babies and toddlers it doesn't look like its expensive, the only thing they need is food and diapers jfl.

Educating another human being is one of the most expensive things one can do, it's more about time than money and time > money

Because it's not just food and shelter. It's also education and buying them NT shit like phones and consoles and whatever other shit comes out. Also licenses.

If they go out with their friends, that's also gonna cost money in the long-term.

In semi-socialist countries maybe education is paid for by the government? In that case it'd be much cheaper than a first world capitalist shithole.

you'll have spent 200k dollars on each kid by the time they're 18. You're from Bosnia i think so it's like 322,871 bosnia herzegovina currency

No it is not lmao at least in my country just look at the MENAs here they have a whole battalion of kids. Why people here dont want kids is because they dont want to have any responsibility and live degenerate lifestyle altough even when they have kids that lifestyle still exist alot of the times sadly

They’re not much more expensive than the temporary, vain pleasures most of the mouthbreather antinatalist crowd love to buy. Bur you get infinite more reward of making and growing another human, biological satisfaction, and love for your wife.

In USA, my dad raised a family of 4 on one salary. At the age of 25, I could raise a family of 6 by myself (if a woman would let me!). It’s not expensive, it just requires sacrifice to see a good future, which most soyboys can not comprehend.

Additionally, most modern people don’t understand what is necessary vs what is luxury, so they overspend. This includes on kids. Kids don’t need to be overspent on either. You don’t need all the newest things, neither do your kids.

In my country the poorer the families, the more kids they have. Gypsies have the most kids, and they don't spend much on them, they just send them in the streets to beg, steal, search through garbage, etc., so they actually make money from them...

Kids are expensive and if they aren't already, they definitely will be expensive in the future. You'll have to provide them more than just food cosmetics and shelter. Education costs a lot too. You'll also need to give them a lot of pointless stuff like video game consoles, the latest tech, iPhones or whatever. Maybe even costly clothing and shoes to appear NT. And I'm not done yet, you'll have to give them money to go out and eat with their friends/date. You'll end up spending at least more than 250K dollars on them by the time they are 18 yo... 250K.

Now just imagine and ask yourself how much you can enjoy life with the extra 250K dollars, or how much time and effort you would have saved instead by not working like a slave to earn that amount of money.

Don't think that you can just avoid this lol, people are becoming heavy consumers now. Maybe if you escape to a farmland, far away from the city, you'll end up spending less on raising a kid. It isn't a meme. Imagine all the dates/dinner nights you can fund with your lover. Imagine all the touring you can do, imagine how you will have time to enrich in your hobbies. Just think about it. Having a kid feels good at first, but then you'll start shedding hair once the stress builds up on you due to your kid's issues and the constant anxiety of earning money to feed them, lmao.

You're right. It's something every normie will say but isn't true. "Raising a child to 18 y/o costs 100k+", I think these numbers are pulled out of the ass. Both my father and mother had 4-5 siblings and the parents were normal workers with only the income of the father. By that logic they would have to be millionaires.

Just break down the costs of parenthood in Germany:

Food: - 200€/month
Clothes: - 50€/month
Toys/Tech: - 100€/month
Transportation (bus ticket etc.): 50€/month
Hygiene: 20€/month
Child money from the state: +200€/month

A child on average costs 220€ per month. It only gets expensive once you have to buy a bigger house so each child has its own room, once you have to purchase a car for your kid, the drivers license etc.

In the US its more expensive obviously because of college.
