Alright fellas, it's late, and I've been thinking. We keep obsessing over hypergamy, how women are always looking for the better deal and all that. But let me play devil's advocate for a second here: Is our fixation on hypergamy actually keeping us stuck in a loop of self-pity and inaction? Like, hear me out.
We're all about maxxing here—gymmaxxing, careermaxxing, whatever. But what if all this effort is sort of wasted because we're mentally trapped by the idea of hypergamy? Like, we're so scared that even if we get the girl, she'll leave us for a better option, right? So what's the point? This paradox is total lifefuel and suicidefuel at the same time.
Now, I'm not going all bluepilled or anything, but could it be possible that by making hypergamy this big bad wolf, we're actually blackpilling ourselves into a standstill? Like, by being too aware, we're boxing ourselves in?
Anyway, shoot your thoughts, guys. Are we our own worst enemies here? Or am I just overthinking it?
