Say a white ltb chooses to go for black guys because she speculates they'll be more attracted to her white skin. Or a ltn chooses to seamaxx because Asians generally prefer white guys. Would they had chose differently had they been htn+?

It depends on the reason they go for it I think.

A lot of LTBs who want a LTR will, in the white pool, only have access to guys she thinks are too ugly or not masculine enough. So she happily trade a race debuff for a looks or masculinity buff, plus, consciously or unconsciously, the virtue signaling benefits and cliché of "being treated like a queen"

HTB or above who would never consider a black guy for LTR will probably not be concerned about his face at all, and is just into it for the being used raceplay sexual fantasy. The worse his face looks, the more this fantasy can be abstracted from any real attraction. If he is actually too good looking then it humanizes him and she doesn't want to see him as human in this encounter. So in this case, looks is a con not a pro--it risks tainting the purity of the fantasy.
