Is this U/L split optimal? 🤓

(I will save training abs to lower body days)
Monday- Upper Body
Tuesday- Lower Body
Wednesday- Upper Body
Saturday- Lower Body

The reason it’s a little weird is because I’m trying to program it so I have a training day on Wednesdays and avoid having one on Fridays. This is because I don’t have sports practice on Wednesday’s and games on Fridays. Even though there’s 48 hrs in between Monday and Wednesday I just want to make sure before I implement this. And no I will not be quitting my sport for the gym that’s gymcel behavior!

It's good, but there's another split that's solid for people who don't wanna waste time at the gym. What's your training volume?

Not too high, usually no more than 4-6 sets per muscle group. Though it’s prolly ~eight for days I train back. Rn i’m running PPLxArnold with an extra rest day (so an 8 day cycle)

Go with low volume and high frequency, u don’t need a long workout, just an intense one. Full body 3x a week is enough—just 1 exercise per muscle, 6-7 reps, and 2 sets (add 1 warm-up set).Always focus on progression. If you can’t add 2lbs or even 1lb each session, ur volume is too high (rep progression counts too)
