I eventually got tired of doing stupid shit for their amusement and they started hanging out without me in senior year. we still kick it occasionally to this day and have a lot of fun when we do but I can't forget the way they did me. my ethnic friends I made later on didn't just see me as entertainment and that allowed me to just be myself without any pressure to coon for them

I’m sorry you had that experience, but that’s all it is, YOUR experience. Most of my friends are white and we are close as fuck. Been friends for years and I love them.
