This thread is sort of a follow up to: looksmaxxing is cope, looks theory delusion, universal slayer trait, surgery delusion
What I'm about to type in this thread is nothing sort of new in any shape or form. You can call it common sense, practicality or whatever you like. Even though many of it is obvious, but I feel it needs to be written down as too many are detached from reality. Barely go out, barely meet girls, barely talk to people or do anything
What I noticed on many users here and its very important they get conscious about it:
Their insecurities, traumas and fears of women literally projects onto their looksmaxxing endevours. They want to look better to get women, but they're afraid to get to the point where if they approach(and act normal) they likely get the lay. They want to become this superchad version of themselves where they can skip the part of socialising/approaching and remain in comfort zone and never having to make up for all those years of missed out sexual-social development with opposite gender. They're literally more afraid of looking "good enough" than being ugly. Being ugly provides a comfort where you know you don't stand a chance even if you try, so you have endless excuses to never leave room, never approach, never expose yourself to the world. Basically they'd set standards SO HIGH for their looksmaxxing goals for when they would finally start approaching, that they would never reach it, yet still remain in this illusion their life be entirely different once they reach this goal, that they subconsciously deep down literally know, they will never reach. It's literally mind bending, they want to ascend, but not at the same time. Practical things like: gymcelling, roiding, tanning, tatoos, haircuts, stylemaxing, lifts etc... are too "primitive" for them.
Occam's razor: It's a philosophical principle that says "the simplest solution is usually the correct one". If there are 2 explanations to something, the simpler one is more likely to be correct. The more explanation, details a solution requires, the least likely it is to be true/useful.
If you ever "ascend", whatever ascensions means for you, will be likely from looksmaxxing concepts that are "simple" and "primitive" by your own standards. There's a habit of people overcomplicating the problems so that they don't have to face the primitive solutions, because their fear of having put themselves on line without being this idolised immaculate version of themselves.
