Do ya'll think it's worth doing a lefort 2 if you're not severly recessed. Instead of trying to fix a falio, you would be trying to create a halo. Does it matter that much if you're not severly recessed? At what point is a lefort 2 a good operation to perform?

Close to ideal forward growth- Henry Cavill; Halo
Average forward- Alain Delon Or David Gandy; Doesn't halo nor falio
Pretty Recessed- Robert Pattinson; Falio
Death Tier Recession- Indian man; Facial Harmony Destroyer

Btw I'm talking about forward growth of the upper maxilla.

I’ve not seen any results from people who aren’t recessed. Have you seen any ? Which surgeons would even perform this on non severely recessed patients barring some third world unethical surgeon?

Honestly, I don't see any ethical surgeon that's actually worth paying performing something like this on people who aren't severely recessed, and it's crazy how dudes here speak about these surgeries like they're Botox injections

giant. But it's all going to depend on Clavicula's result with Dr. Celal, if he ends up getting a 2 instead of trimax

Personally, I don't think you can create a halo this way

Exactly
Surgeons are going to think more about it if Clavs result is good.

You could create more forward growth in the upper maxilla, which makes the eyes deeper set, but is a lf 2 really worth it for that, y'know?

Giant/Celal would. Even if you're not severly recessed, I could see someone like Robert Pattinson increasing his appeal through it, which is creating a halo

He will do nothing

Only monobloc can change the eye setness
Problem is that it wouldn't address the forward growth of the paranasal region
Then it's a whole different question

Yes but it's a very complicated surgery if you're not recessed somewhat.

Look at the dates, he would already had it done
I think he said he is going to blog his experience so we'll have to see. I think it'll be soon though, he talked about a couple days ago on stream i think

How his results will help you with problem described in the thread tho?

LF2 would give appearance of more protection around the eyes, due to the nose being more projected. This leads to a "deeper set" appearance

If the LF2 is successful and it comes out top tier, this will cause surgeons around the world to rethink orthognathic surgery as a whole I think. Usually a lefort 2 is performed on a person, like the indian man, with severe midfacial retrusion. Lefort 2 is optimal for aesthetics.

The problem with trimax, is that if you move the lower maxilla forward, and leave the upper maxilla, you get dogmaxxed. That's why surgeons that are smart don't perform big movements on the lefort 1. Lefort 2 addresses the problem completely by moving the maxilla as a whole.

Sorry didn't answer the question completly.

I'm debating whether I should do a lf2 or stick with normal trimax. But I don't know if lf2 is worth it, with the level of recession that I have. My recession is moderate, not death tier.

Ask Pagnoni if he can perform it on you

I've seen and heard enough terrible stuff about Celal to know that he's a snake oil salesman, he isn't ethical at all.

Yes, I recall another user saying that Clavicular had opted for trimax and implants instead.

The Indian guy had what’s known as the Kufner cut or Quadrangular LeFort 2.

As you can see, his midface is still unsatisfactory.
