Looking for Angels

I’ve never got that out of the blue text from an old friend asking how I am. I’ve never got that out of the blue message from a girl who has interest in me years later. And I never will.

If you’re looking for angels, stop. They’re not coming. Only you can get yourself out of this mess, or you can give up. Either way, you’re alone. Nobody will come to save you.
