I'm doing around 1 lb of higher fat red meat instead of 2 lb lean and it has helped skin quality a lot. probably due to growth signaling and iron overload.

I am not saying high protein diets are bad but if you're like me and have been eating ~200 grams daily for the past couple years maybe reduce it and see how you feel.

Will you ever post your ascension? Very curious.

The problem was probably not the protein but either the protein source or the other foods you were consuming with it

True dairy is a lot harder to overdo imo but still high tyrosine. Like basically everything you need the right amount too much & too little cause issues

goats milk has much higher tyrosine ratio than cows , with respect to the other amino acids. also higher glycine. and non homogenised benfit

I was carnivore for a year and consumed the only grass-fed meat that was available in store in Sweden being "chuck mince". The issue with the meat was the high collagen and the fact that it's a very tough meat. Chuck roast is supposed to simmer in water for 1 - 2 hours in a pot for the collagen to break down so we can digest it. I ate it raw and sometimes grilled it everyday and since I already have slightly poor kidney function, my body couldn't digest it at all and that really showed in my urine and skin. My urine turned foamy like crazy and my skin elasticity worsened with wrinkles in the nasiolabal area which made me look absolutely horrible. I tried removing eggs, dairy and whatnot and the only thing that actually helped was switching over to regular chicken breast and other tender meats. My skin now vs during carnivore is night and day difference.
