MSE+FM Success! IMDO next Need help.

Quick backstory i got mse+ facemask a little over a year ago and the results were great my occlusion was decent beforehanf though so now i have a moderate overbite of 7 mm because of fm and my bite isnt aligned because of the mse. But with the being said i look noticably better now even though my occlusions shit . Ihink the reason i got such gerat results besides being young is i was on peptides+aromasin (still am) which surly helped the process of bone remodaling and i pulled like 16 hours eveyday. But now i need to know everything i can about imdo everyone knowledgable please teach me its effects and the process of the treatment. I know a decent bit but not enough. Also i will defenietly get it if i think it is ideal for asthetics without any very bad sides since money isnt a issue at all ill fly to aus to do it with that one doc if hes the best. Please inform me on how the procedure is done exactly and if its my best option. Will it make my jaw wider along with foward or just foward? Appreciate the help.

20 wore for 16 hours a day my whole maxilla is more foward now especially my undereye area which was my biggest flaw i pulled negative 15 degrees and ive had no negative effects like longer midface or whtever. It is a distraction meant to enlargen your lower jaw through slow expansion (1mm per day). If you are in the US, please DM and I’ll tell you a provider closer than Australia, but of course, if you have access to Coceancig himself, that would be the better option.

You can watch Coceancig’s videos over IMDO. It goes much more into detail, but it’s basically a cut between your third & second molar and then the distractors placed in. As you turn it, it advances forward and if you have a deep bite then the anterior mandible goes downward.

The jaw widens by a method of vector collision. The two advancing forces of the distractors collide together and put pressure at the anterior ramus (behind the osteotomy cut) and as result widens it.

If you get it you will need a surgery to bring uo the lower jaw like imdo but id you can afford it and are willing to travel to where you need to go foe it.

IMDO is a lower jaw surgery. You do not do a lower jaw surgery before doing another lower jaw surgery. But yes, you do MSE prior to Bimax, because Bimax will split your lower maxilla meaning no midfacial expansion and MSE will intervene with the attached plates likely.

IMDO is a lower jaw surgery. You do not do a lower jaw surgery before doing another lower jaw surgery. But yes, you do MSE prior to Bimax, because Bimax will split your lower maxilla meaning no midfacial expansion and MSE will intervene with the attached plates likely.

Next, you don’t even want to do SARPE because you can plan a 3 segmental LeFort 1 where they cut the lower maxilla in 3 pieces and widen it as well as advancement. Not even just that. SARPE involves an expander and my point with MSE applies with this:

What about braces after MSE? Won't it cause some degree of downswing of your maxilla? Or no?

The one thing I respect about Coceancig is IMDO. But just FYI he stops recommending it on people at around age 22. So you should hurry.

I'm going to be 22 in some months, but have not even started MSE+Facemask. Would it still be possible at 22? I thought IMDO was possible into adulthood. Worst case scenario what are the alternatives? And are they as good as IMDO?

MSE for skeletal effects on midface, SARPE purely for "further" maxilla/palatal widening and or widening plus advancement forward probably paired with MSDO to get giga big dental arches
