Alpha:
Only acts in a way that benefits him the most
Usually physically superior, if not he makes up for it with other intimidation tactics
Wants to hurt people who are better off
Doesnt bully losers seriously cause it doesnt benefit him
Withholds information or other things from the team to make them worse off and look better oneselve, but pretending to care about it
Calculated risk taking
Sneaky, no one expects his tactics
Other people dont matter to him if they don't benefit him
Doesnt benefit from hating on minorities etc, is secretly happy that they exist cause they are seen inferior in society
Always takes more than he gives back, but pretends it isnt this way
Feeds people with niceness or other things to show true color later
Being honest most of the time so one ekcepts one to deceive with lies
Acting morally good, empathetic etc (when not demotivated)
Uses relationships to get steady supply of sex and validation/confidence or even resources
focus on getting laid
no goals in life except maxxing his wellbeing
securing steady sources of validation
etc

Beta/Omega:
Opposite

Checking people is only useful when they're in direct competition with you for something specific or trying to assert dominance over you. Otherwise, checking people for the sake of bringing them down is antithetical with "only worrying about yourself," and is the behavior of an insecure person
