Talking as someone who had previously used Oral Minoxidil for ~2 years.

It is the biggest bloatmax you can do, and results are not permanent

You may not notice the bloat, but you look at your face every single day. I only realised how much of a brutal looksmin it is after looking at older photos of me where I was higher body fat, yet somehow facially leaner.

I was doing my utmost to debloat, and coping with “carbs cause bloating”, “it’s the sodium bro”

Trying 110% to debloat, and not being as facially lean when lower body fat than when higher body fat, and not giving a single fuck about what I ate is absolutely brutal.

I quit minoxidil 2 to 3 months ago now, the bloating did go away. Took around 2 weeks to a month, I forgot. Legit ate 10k calories of goyslop and there was literally no bloat.

No, none of the results on your eyelashes and eyebrows are gonna be permanent. Only beard. Reason for that is that since Minoxidil increases hair growth through increased blood flow, the hairs get an extra “boost” to grow. Beard hairs aren’t terminal hairs yet if you don’t have a beard, so minoxidil gives them that extra “boost” to become terminal hairs. Lashes and eyebrows are already terminal hair, so the increased blood flow is increasing the hair growth, but since the hair is already terminal, it can’t become terminal again, so once the Minoxidil usage is stopped, it will simply return to its pre minoxidil state.

Hopefully that makes sense.

And I also honestly don’t recommend topical minoxidil either. It still transatlantic to an extent.

TL;DR - Minoxidil causes bloating, through fucking up sodium and potassium channels. None of its hair growth is permanent, so I can’t see why anyone would use it.

would you say topical fin on lashes would do the same trick?

Finasteride doesn’t cause hair growth.

If your only goal is to grow your lashes, oral castor oil does actually work at non cope dosages of 5-10mL a day. MPMD has a video on the science of it, but it’s due to oral castor oil increasing PGE2, which causes hair growth. He didn’t get results since he only used 1mL. I tried with 5-10mL and it does work. I just can’t be asked to drink it daily, so stopped. (It will also grow all hair including body hair, eyebrows etc)

And I wouldn’t even use topical Finasteride ever. I’d you’re going to use Finasteride for hair loss, just use oral. Topical still goes systematic and oral is more effective.

I used minoxidil oil when I was 12 and it fucked me over tbh, I hate the little hairs I grew when I used minoxidil for like 3 months that I STILL have.

Latisse is also another option. I had also tried that, for a week only.

It works inane for growth of lashes, I saw very noticeable growth with in that week of using it.

I don’t know how much I believe the “latisse causes fat pad loss”. I’ve only seen that happen in people who use it as eye drops.

Sides I got was red eyes (could be due to shitty application on my part), and slight discolouration where applied (like a pencil outline that girls do on their eye).

Why the fuck would you use minoxidil when you’re 12?

Little hairs where?

Have you discontinued usage?

Brows - Oral castor at 5-10mL does work
Hair - Wageslave and get hair transplant in future or get a hair system

They would have come in eventually anyways, just when you’re older. No harm done, just some more hassle from possible having to shave now, instead of later on in life.

That’s the best way in my opinion, without using Minoxidil.

If it’s not genetic then it would have returned on its own. Telogen effluvium is what you possibly had due to some hormonal changes or deficiencies.

It will increase hair growth yes, which includes eye lashes. Drink 5-10mL a day. Maybe work up to that dosage since it is used as a laxative. I just full sent it straight to 5-10mL and was fine, no issue.

Is there any permanent way to increase lash length and thickness? Biotin?

with cardio eod you should be fine with bloating also no salt and low carb but you should do it anyway

it really does.

and you did eyedrops aswell?
No, got a small brush, and a drop of latisse on the brush. Then just run the brush along lash line.

Yeah at 12? WTF.

As for OP, I just Finasteride to maintain NW1. I don't really need minoxidil at the moment anyways. I do agree we need a better alternative to both though in the future.

That’s retarded IMO. You gonna have to spam cardio, have no salt and no carbs to remain debloated while if you just don’t use it and do none of that you will be more debloated. Imagine how debloated if you didn’t use minoxidil and did all that shit.

as should, and make sure you use a curler
eyelash curler would be pretty obvious and i cant risk my roommates finding about it

well ofc but you're sacrificing hair gains i don't think there are other ways to get oral min results isnt it?

I have glaucoma in one of my eyes and they gave latanoprost, which is similar to latisse, and I’ve used it for 8 years and my eyelashes on my right eye thst has glaucoma is a lot thicker and longer than my left but still not enough to get noticed. I’ve drastically reduced the eye drop usage and the lashes have still stayed. My fat pads on both eyes tho surprisingly have been annihilated. I’m 18 with undereyes of a 30 year old.

Minox saved my eyebrows and I will forever use it. Get a good daily routine for ur minoxidl with sunscreen and moisturizer so it doesn't get dry.

Permanently, not from my knowledge.

All methods require you to continue usage.

Latisse - need to apply topically along lashes. However if you use latisse, once you get full results you can maintain the results with little use. Like once or twice a week application.

Oral castor - needs you to keep taking it.

Oral Minox - needs you to keep taking it.

Best option for hair is always prevention. So good shit on the Fin. If shit goes downhill, Dutasteride and hair transplant.
