I have been on the fence of doing rhinoplasty for a long time. On the one hand my nose is far from ideal, but OTOH I am not certain if risks/benefits are there.
Yes, my real problem is downswung maxilla/mandible. But my bite is good, no malocclusion, I haven't had any ortho treatment, no tooth extractions. In other words, I have no hope or plans to get bimax. I do plan to get chin fillers soon though.
Pros:

Pros:
- Potentially better looking nose, more harmonious face.
- From some angles (3/4) my nose looks really long/downswung.
- Potentially only negligible PSL gain. My nose doesn't look that bad from the front (even though it is asymetric).
- I have been a part time (sports, sleep) mouthbreather for most of my life. Only recently I managed to turn myself into a full-time nosebreather. (Running came half a year faster than sleep.) So it is extra 10 or so hours with my tongue at the top of the roof which could over years push maxilla up making my nose less of an issue.
