Ortho Treatment is fucking me up

I'm 15. I've had braces for little over a year. I have an overbite, and my maxilla is horrible. they're making me wear elastics, i already shared my issues with their elastics and they tell me its unable to recess me, and only children can be recessed, my undereyes are also pure shit. WTF do i do before its too late bru

Yea, bringing my lower forward. But my maxilla is fucked and it’s probably making it worse. My father has the same maxilla and sleep apnea.

braces do not recess you unless you had extraction. your maxilla is pretty much done developing at like 13. it is set in stone from then onwards and infact your ortho is helping fix your recessed jaw. wear your elastics trust me. your undereyes/infras are not really to do with your maxillary projection. Mark as solution pls

yea but cant my ortho give me something to expand my maxilla? my side profile is very very flat, and thats due to my maxilla.

class 2 elastics recess your maxilla. do not bring your lower jaw forward...
