Nordid:
Description:
Depigmented, rather tall and long to medium-skulled, relatively large-headed group, found in its highest frequencies in Northern Europe.Facial features are marked, curved occiput, orthognathic, nose high and narrow, forehead high and slightly receding, chin sturdy, lips thin, legs rather long.
Modern East Nordids (ProtoNordids, Aisto Nordids) still resemble those early migrants, the broader-faced Dalo Faelids still show similarities to Cro-Magnons. In the East, Nordids tend to be high-skulled, in the West, low-skulled. The Hallstatt type is usually seen as the most typical modern variety. Trønders are common in Scandinavia, the Savolaxid in north-eastern europe. the Anglo-Saxon in Western Europe.
Hallstatt:
Description:
Nordid proper, resembles the Iron Age remains of the Austrian village of Hallstatt. Most common among Swedes and South Norwegians. Frequent in England, Northern Germany, Netherlands, Northern France, and Iceland.Pinkish pale skin. Straight to wavy, blonde, sometimes red or light brown hair. blue eyes. Tall, ectomorph or mildly mesomorph with wide shoulders and narrow hips (even in women), meso- sometimes brachyskelic. Mesocephalic, dolichocephalic at times, mildly chamaecranic with a curved occiput. Hyperleptorrhine, straight or high-bridged nose. Face high and narrow with marked features, mildly sloping forehead, thin lips, sturdy chin.
Daleofaelid:
Description:
the stereotypical north german mogger phenotype, Faelids are very tall and mesomorph. Rugged features with thick necks and broad shoulders. Simply the best, if you aren’t this, you’re inferior period.Typical areas include north-Central Germany, Netherlands, often Southern Sweden / Norway, partially even Southern Finland.
The forehead is steep with strong brow ridge and deep-set eyes. Facial features are also lateral. wide face with forward grown maxilliary facial features and angular and broad jaw. Nose is narrow, leptorrhine and usually convex or straight. The gonial angle is low.
anglo-Saxon/Tronder
Saxon:
Description:
Iron Age Hallstatt Nordid altered by mixture with Cro-Magnid and probably additional Corded elements. Northwest euro type, similar to Tronder, but with a stronger Hallstatt component. Was typified by the ancient Germanic tribes of Angles, Saxons, and Jutes who conquered Britain from the 5th century on. Most common today in East England, but also found often in the Netherlands, North-West Germany, West Denmark, and parts of Northern France and Ireland.Pale skin, wavy, often blonde, sometimes brown or red hair with light(-mixed) eyes. Rather tall, mesoskelic, ectomorph to mesomorph. Mesocephalic, chamae- orthocranic with narrower faces and more roundish, Hallstattesque features than Tronder, but more robust features than Hallstatt as well as more prominent cheek-bones. Nose is hyperleptorrhine, the forehead high.
Tronder:
Description:
North European type, combines features of paleo-Adlantid, Hallstatt, and East Nordid. One of the main elements in the ancient Vikings. Their nucleus lies in the Norwegian Trondelag region.
Rosy-white skin, straight or wavy, often golden blonde, sometimes red or brown hair with light eyes. Tall, brachy- mesoskelic, ecto- to mesomorph. Mesocephalic and orthocranic with craggier facial features, and a slightly steeper, more roundish forehead compared to Hallstatt. Face is long, nose (hyper-)leptorrhine. Head size is moderate, auricular height very high. Orthognathic. Body hair moderate to strong. Rather small eyes, thin lips, sturdy chin.
Savolaxid/east-Baltid
Description:
Baltic/Finnish variety. the proto fingolians
. Core population in Eastern Finland, Karelia, and Northern Russia, also Lappland. Occasionally found all over Scandinavia and in Eastern Europe south to the Carpathian Mountains. In Norway and Southern Sweden
Pale to fair skin, straight, dirty blonde or brown hair, often light eyes. Medium height, mildly macroskelic, endomorph. Prominent malars and relatively flat, wide face, short jaw. Mildly leptorrhine, concave, snub-nose. Forehead low, sloping. Sometimes slanted eyes. Compared to Tavastid, shorter, narrower- and smaller-headed, and flatter-faced.
