The sheer levels of selfishness and egoism that now characterizes everything has gotten so bad that I feel we have surpassed people being merely spoiled. I would argue that the average person under 35 is now literally a sociopath srs. Consider for example people who fiddle with their phones while on "dates" with others. People see each other as being so expendable now that even when in person they just think you are a yet another face on their phone to be discarded once no longer useful.
