I’m on 30 mg Vyvanse/Elvanse and 3 mg guanfacine and still this happens too me and has happened 5 minutes ago and now:

1. I get unbearably strong desires to do certain stuff that heavily goes against the law and my belief
2. I start to cry and fall on the ground and lay there
3. I stare at things for long periods of times
4. I start making sounds that have no meaning
5. I start to bite my hand
6. I get visions that behind the corner is standing someone that wants to kill me
7. I get desires to talk to one of the voices/imaginary ppl I know
8. The voices are silent and say nothing
9. I get really scared and really stressed

No I won’t elaborate on what that “certain stuff” is.

My question is if someone somehow knows what I’m experiencing. It really draining, I don’t want to have it. It comes and goes and comes.

just say what you think it might is or what could help with it

'm sorry you're going through this. What you're describe is not something I'd consider a typical side effect of ADHD alone, and it deserves prompt evaluation by a medical professional.
Some possibilities (not a diagnosis) include:
  • A psychotic episode (or psychotic symptoms), which can involve hearing voices, seeing or sensing people who aren't there, feeling intensely paranoid, and having difficulty distinguishing what's real.
  • A severe anxiety or panic episode with dissociation, where someone may freeze, stare, cry, make involuntary sounds, or feel detached from reality. However, this alone doesn't usually explain voices or vivid visions.
  • A medication-related reaction. Stimulants like Vyvanse (called Elvanse in many countries) can, in some people, trigger psychotic symptoms, severe anxiety, or obsessive intrusive thoughts—even at prescribed doses. This is uncommon but well recognized. Guanfacine is much less likely to cause these symptoms by itself.
  • Another psychiatric or neurological condition that needs assessment.
A few things stand out in what you wrote:
  • Feeling like someone is around the corner wanting to kill you sounds like paranoid thinking or a hallucination/illusion.
  • Wanting to talk to voices or imaginary people, even if the voices are silent, is something a clinician would want to know about.
  • Biting your hand, collapsing to the floor, staring for long periods, and making meaningless sounds could happen during periods of overwhelming distress, but they also warrant medical evaluation.
  • You also mention strong urges to do things that go completely against your beliefs. Those could be intrusive thoughts (which occur in conditions like OCD), but because they're happening alongside the other symptoms you listed, they shouldn't be assumed to be OCD without an assessment.

What I think would help

  • Contact the doctor who prescribes your ADHD medication as soon as possible (today if possible, or the next business day). Tell them exactly what you wrote here. If these symptoms started after starting or increasing Vyvanse/Elvanse, tell them that too.
  • If this is happening right now, or if you think you might act on the urges, or the visions/voices become more convincing or frightening, go to the nearest emergency department or call your local emergency services immediately. This is something that should be assessed urgently.
  • Until you've spoken with a clinician, try not to be alone if you're feeling very frightened or worried you might lose control. If there's someone you trust, let them know what's happening.
Can I ask two questions that would help narrow things down?
  1. Did these episodes start before you began Vyvanse/Elvanse, or only after starting it or increasing the dose?
  2. During these episodes, do you still know that the person behind the corner and the voices probably aren't real, or do they feel completely real at the time?
Even without those answers, I think the combination of paranoia, voices/imaginary people, extreme distress, and unusual behaviors is enough that you should be evaluated by a healthcare professional promptly rather than trying to manage it on your own.

Okay if i tell it to my psychologist, there is no more a lower chance, the chances that I will get put in a ward are id say like 40%. If i tell it to her i doubt that there is a going back.

But I think i should tell her, its more rational to tell her and prevent me from sinning

I’m no expert but I’d say stick with ur plan and dumb down the extremity of ur side effects to her. Ask her what you should do if they continue to get worse (the state u are already in) or just talk to her in general

Then who are you praying to
The father. Just cuz he doesnt answer in words, doesnt mean that he wont help me, he works in secret so that the ones with a soft heart feel him. For example I prayed for my health situation to get better and today i feel much better

if you don't tell her there is a risk that you will do something that the feelings are telling you to. maybe wait till the next appointment if its not too far away.

The voices are currently secondary its more about this tsunami full of emotions hitting me, i dont know what it is.

I dont like ppl, so i started to talk to an imaginary friend i made and after some weeks everything became independent and I started to hear voices that i never created. At the end it turned out that they were larping to be nice to me and hated me and had evil plans against me

The thing is i already know the game, psychologist wont help me, only God can, i just need to get closer to God. Im afraid that the problem wont go away with a psych ward
