I’ve been catholic most of my life,I’ve studied theology and philosophy. But right now I’m doubting religion, does a god even exist?
I do think it is more plausible that a “god” exists opposed to there not being a god
But if one does exist then why does evil exist?
Not moral evil but natural evil.
Moral evil is obviously a result of free will but natural evil isn’t?it just happens.
Seriously doubting everything

What is the difference you mean to make between moral evil and natural evil? I'm a Christian not a Catholic and I'm just trying to see your perspective here

The difference between moral evil involves agency and responsibility (choices made by rational beings), while natural evil does not. Earthquakes, disease, and genetic disorders occur independently of human will, so they can’t be explained by free will in the same way moral evil can. That’s why natural evil is harder to reconcile with an “all good all powerful” God.

Is walking in on my wife getting fucked by a 12 inch dong considered moral evil or natural evil?

'Natural evil' in the sense you gave was ultimately caused by the choices Adam and Eve made.

As long as sin is in this world natural disasters will still happen as a result

not Christian but natural evil might be Adam and eve. you eat the fruit and that's why we go through shit like child birth, working, death.

but all suffering is pointless there is no real reason why God allows us to feel pain either from eachother or nature
