Should I just cut down as much as possible?

After seeing this pic of Jordan Barrett I’m seriously considering just cutting to 8% and giving 0 fucks about how much muscle I lose.

Currently weight training 7x/week and have a decent amount of muscle (14% bf, 6’3.5, 82kg) but I’m thinking I’ll just switch 3/4 out of the 7 workouts for an hour of cardio and do an hour after the other 3 weight training sessions. Obviously, face is law, I’m just asking if you think this is worth it? Btw I have very good high set cheekbones but no hollow cheeks atm, probably cause of bf.

As long as you do it in a healthy way yes. Most people don’t have the genetics to keep up being so low in bf and will struggle functioning properly.

Starving is a dumb thing, don’t do it.

You can try cutting down but always be aware of your body and how it changes, i got down to 10% bf and was shredded out of my mind but my libido was completely dead and my dick didn’t work anymore.

Be careful and take it slowly.

alright thanks, didn’t want to starve, was just curious if prioritizing facial leanness over muscle is worth it. which it obviously is tbh

Tbh try it and see how maintainable is it for u. U could easily go back and regain the muscle u have lost. Just be careful and dont binge urself to a high body fat

He's got buccal fat removal though, and you probably wouldn't look that starved in the face cutting like that if you don't have extreme bones like him either. Are you already naturally around your current bf or do you have to stick to a diet for that?

Is buccal fat removal always that extreme or is there a moderate form of it which doesn't make you look like a skeleton? Cause when I think of aesthetic hollow cheeks I think of this:

but most cases of buccal fat removal I've seen are like Barrett or James Sapphire, which look terrible or outright nightmare fuel sometimes

You don't really need to have buccal fat removal to have those kinds of hollow cheeks, those are more about the bones and distribution. It technically can be less extreme by not ripping all of the fat out though, but they were probably aiming for jordan to look like that

yes I know, wouldn’t want to look like him either cause it’s too extreme, just shows how much of a different bf makes. those 2 pics were taken 3 days apart afaik so doubt he got buccal fat removal in between

I mean I only eat whole foods and sheit but yes, I eat as much as I want, lot of the times I’m too full in the end even
