Yes but the point I’m trying to empathise though is that you’re only doing yourself a disservice to yourself by not taking advantage of those socials whilst you still have those friends. Because at the end of the day friends aren’t going to be forever and without having that social proof it will be even harder to make new friends in the future. So it’s best to create that social proof with your friends now by taking pics and increasing your followers. This might even help creating job opportunities for yourself due to meeting friends of friends compared to if you weren’t to have no socials.

I don’t know why so many of guys can’t seem understand the importance of this. It can literally be difference between living a good life and living crap life. That’s why I named the title of this thread “social media is life” because it will either make you or break you. You niggas will understand what I mean if you’re under 18 and start to get older. If you’re over 18 and don’t understand this simple concept you’re just coping or an idiot.

The key is when you DO have something interesting to do you have to post it on your social straight away. That’s why people call it a “highlight reel”. You don’t have to post every second of your life. Just your highlights. Everyone has at least one interesting thing they do in their life even if it’s just a trip to the museum.

That’s where I fucked up I didn’t post my highlights of my life. There were times where I went to bbqs, family parties, school trips, cinema with friends as kid/teenager and I didn’t post any of it cause of my low confidence in my looks.

Exactly. When I first tried tinder a few years ago I realised I literally had NO good pictures of myself apart from autistic selfies. I wouldn’t have that problem if I had a good social media profile with tons of pics. All I would have needed to do was connect insta or fb to tinder and choose my best pics and 100% know I would have got at least a couple of decent matches. Guess it’s my own fault that I didn’t prioritise my social life and now I’m dealing with the consequences.

I wrote this thread to warn the young bucks on here that if they don’t start prioritising their social life now, it will be a lot harder to catch up to your peers. Not just with girls but with job/business opportunities as well. But hey they don’t wanna listen and want to cope with their surgeries whilst they’ll have no connections as they get older.
