WTP is often considered as the lifeblood that is scattered throughout Nietzsche's ouevre. You may laugh but once you've read Nietzsche thoroughly there is no going back and after you've experienced the sweet nectar of the Will to Power( which takes a tangible quality for me in the form of a diffuse heat around the back of my neck and a contraction in my spinal erectors) then what can such JFL reacts and memes do to us, O mortal one? Nietzsche was actually a notorious addict to onanism, and this was known in Germany so this is actually Nietzsche acknowledging the effects of celibacy during his mania side of his depressive- mania where he no longer dealt with the lifelong pain he suffered from- with the soothing effects associated with ejaculation and instead had turned to opium. Nietzsche took long walks throughout the day and was a keen observer of his physiology. In fact nietzsche is a philosopher of the body more than anything, so we should not dismiss his remarks with a blithe laugh but seek to draw out a system which coheres. Nietzsche although not a didactic prose writer ,still wrote in such a way that his trenchant observations demand careful consideration.
