So first of all let me say that no shampoo will be able to stop androgenetic alopecia. At best it can provide an adjunct effect.

That is mainly for two reasons:

1) it's washed off far too quickly before active ingredients can be absorbed into your skin properly

2) it most likely lacks the proper formulation and concentration for the active ingredients to be effective

Having said that, if you still want to use an "anti-hair-loss" shampoo here are the ingredients you should look for:

PIROCTONE OLAMINE:
one of the most effective anti-dandruff ingredients which has also been shown to increase hair diameter.

ZINC PCA:
a great anti-inflammatory ingredient that INHIBITS the 5a-reductase enzyme topically on your scalp (which is responsible for converting Testosterone into DHT and causing hair loss)

Ketoconazole:
Anti-dandruff agent that supposedly also helps with hair loss. This is my least favourite ingredient because it can cause premature graying of the hair and comes with more possible side effects than PO and ZincPCA.

Honorable mentions: Caffeine, Rosemary oil. The studies on them are not good imho so wont promote them itt.

Reactions: yue, Amphisbaena and Spergi
Finasteride/Dutasteride. Anything else againsts male pattern baldness is cope.

Ketoconazole will help with dandruff and the scalp but only temporarily, it kinda builds up a tolerance and makes you look worse if you stop using it. It's a weird shampoo.
