Most ppl in ur course etc or in dorms likely dont know each other. Just observe sweet pointa to conversate and go from there. Its ur first year i assume so ye no one will likely know each other especially with the fact many go to uni to "escape"

No it's my 5th year but I will be returning to those in 3rd year as I took 2 gap years.
