what to do or tell people when you have no internet footprint or past

meanning you have no social platform and virtually no interesting life something to talk about, so you cant share conection with someone.

I think it happened to me recently, when that person was able to talk interestingly about life when even stories about a stupid car were intresting. While I couldnt get anything out of me
