When does (or doesnt) someone benefits from a beard? (long philtrum?)

Most pretty boys go clean shaven or just plain cant grow beards, and there are some people that just look worse with a beard (alain delon kinda does), i think if you have good bones you should always let them shine but even then light stubble seems to be the best option
