Basically what is it about jaw surgeries that makes them better than getting implants for the jaw?

implants won't last they need to be worked on overtime and other bullshit complications. Ortho surgery isn't plastic surgery it's a procedure designed to be done on people to solve malocclusion problems.

Because they do different things, jaw surgery changes the forward position of the jaws and implants change the aesthetic aspects of width, vertical height, and projection of the mandible and gonions

jaw surgery is for the genuinely deformed and implants for those who aren’t deformed but want to look exceptional

Implants are safer aesthetically than jaw surgery and have a completely different purpose and effect. And no if they survive the first four weeks after surgery implants will survive for your lifetime. Jaw surgery on the other hand can revert over time to being recessed again. Don’t spread disinformation :what:

How do you even find a way to tell which one you should get.

Could you explain how could the guy on the right become the guy on the left again?

Implants don't fix the actual problem, are expensive as fuck, risk of looking uncanny, won't last a lifetime

PEEK / Titanium implants absolutely last a life time and do not need revision if placed correctly and provide a satisfactory aesthetic outcome.

You make out like there's no such thing as a failed / botched / relapsed jaw surgery - I see tons of these.

They're two different solutions for two different problems.

Because if done correctly jaw surgery can offer health benefits. I am recessed and have bad teeth. I actually need jaw surgery, I got reccomended it when I was 18 for my open bite; but the doctor also reccomeneded extractions JFL. Health and beauty are synonymous

Bone first then implants after. This will give you maximum functional and aesthetic benefits. If you get implants first then get DJS after, your implants will look incorrect.

Before getting djs you will need 1-1.5years of braces in most cases, then after the djs you need to wait for 1.5 years before you can get implants. So its a time frame of 3 years and estimated 30-50k.
A lot of recovery, pain and risks. I dont think anyone is so commited to go the route of djs+implants.

I currently have no plans for getting implants. AFter I have fixed my teeth and jaw I will look towards buying other things such as a house first. I also think I will need SARPE before braces, because I don't want extractions.

I would prefer getting surgery first but the braces route is more practical for me because I can afford braces currently. I can't afford DJS atm.

Narrow palate and teeth crowding. I am 22 so I doubt I will be able to get MSE.

I will see what the surgeons say. I will need a palate expansion, but I don't know which proceedure they will reccomend.

But is it possible to only widen the palate? What about the mandible?

I don't know tbh. I can't find my information on widening the mandible. I think only the upper jaw gets recessed due to poor tongue pasture. The lower jaw will get recessed due to weak masster muscles. If your teeth are crowed in the lower jaw, it means your jaw is to short and must be lengthened.

I am unsure, because palate expansion only appears to be an option for the upper jaw. I am assuming they will just allign your upper palate to the lower palate. I will see what the doctors say.

because we are a little aspie and autistic people have a preference for perfection and finding a permanent solution

The reason u need sarpe is because ur maxilla is more narrow than ur mandible probably so u only need to expand the maxilla to fix ur bite

My mandible is also crowded but the shape is alot better. With some foward growth all my teeth should fit.

I got recommended jaw surgery when I was 16 but my parents refused. If they hadn't been completely bluepilled my life would've been different and I would've never found this site. I had to go through my teen and college years with a massive nose and underbite as a result and was completely lonely and depressed incel. Hopefully I'll be able to make up for it once I get bimax in a year but probably not 😥.

When is ur consult
I have one on the 22nd of September in the UK. I was also supposed to have one with Doctor Zarrinbal on the 1st of October but I will have to reschedule for a later date. I will have to get the COVID vaccine first. I was trying to avoid it because I don't like needles and I really don't like COVID-19. 99.8% survival rate btw; better perform a global lockdown and use fear porn on everyone. I will try and get the same vaccine my family has (pfizer) because none of them have died yet.

The pro's of getting the vaccine at this point far outweigh the negatives. It should be safe because its literally illogical for these vaccines to be lethal. "Better kill off the sheep for NWO. Lets leave the hard to control conspiracy theorists alive". Fucking over tbh.

About what age is too late for MSE?

After purberty. It may work if your 20 but most surgeons will reccomend surgery to expand palate. Its seems debateable wether the bones in the skull fuse after puberty or not.
