I tried explaining this to the other dude but it was pretty hard since i didnt have pics.

Idk if this is how it works but this is what it looks like to me.

I have a pretty big overjet (my bottom teeth are also pushed forward. This pushes my lips forward which makes my chin look more recessed and actually makes it more recessed since my lip is pushed up by my front tooth. When i push my lip down where it should be i get a normal chin as you can see in these pictures. (My lips look fucking retarded since i have to fight against my teeth to show you this).

So i THINK when my teeth are normal again my chin should be fine (maybe a bit recessed but not as bad as now for sure). If its still subhuman ill get a genioplasty when im 18 or sumn

Moving ur teeth back wont move ur jaws back (make u recessed) unless u r a growing 10 year old in which the braces to close the gaps would hold ur jaws back while the rest of ur skull grows forward around ur jaws in which case u would be recessed.

It didnt move forward. Her mentalis muscle moved downwards instead of straining upwards tryna close the lower lip, so maybe she gained a like 1-2mm of soft tissue chin projection but her chin bone doesnt move

I know that but my overjet pushes my lip up and forward which decreases my chin protrusion. When i move my chin below my front tooth my chin looks normal so fixing overjet will give me a normal chin.

An overjet is indicative of skeletal malformation. Braces do not fix overjets arguably they just make it worse. You probably will need jaw surgery.

Lil bro u sound just like me lol. I had braces for an “overjet” when I was young now I’m planing for jaw surgery.

The reason you have a overjet to begin with is because your jaws are recessed and didn’t develop properly. Once you are 18 or older you have no more jaw development left.

The only thing to do is Orthogatic Sue where the cut your jaws ad move them forward. Then wire your mouth shut.

It costs 10s of thousands of dollars and you will be swollen for months.
