Because other things matter in life. Maybe he is rich? Maybe he is genuinely a cool guy who makes her laugh and matches with her? Maybe he is funny?

True that looks matter a lot but generally you will be able to date depending on what you can provide to a relationship. You might not have the looks to provide but having a genuinely fun/good personality is something that is also provided and is surprisingly rare and valuable nowadays.

So basically this one chick I liked has found a bf. The bf is by every definition subhuman (wide nigger nose, round head like a ball, slightly fat, bro is apparently white but looks native american). The only reason why I can see her being with him is because of the niche appeal (long hair, metal, punk, that sort of thing) and statusmaxxing. So are statusmaxxing and nichemaxxing a meme or what? Also, I'm not sure if the guy is tall or not, I think he is just a tad taller than her. I don't get it.

the initial decision whether they will continue interacting with you is made before that, but you just have to meet the bare minimum, it doesn't mean you have to be extremely attractive, you just have to not be ugly enough for them to walk away.

the reason girls like celebs so much is because they form parasocial relationships with them, so they think they already sort of know them, despite never actually having interacted, through their movies.


women don't consider random people to be attractive almost ever, they only like people they think they already know.
