why do the scream movies only revolve around young groups of friends?

How come there’s no scream sequel with some old fart on his death bed being gutted by ghost face? Why is always young good looking teens

These studios can't come up with new ideas for movies, so they make money grabs (remakes) doing the same thing every movie.

“Hey you called me”
“No I didn’t”
“Then who was it”

And then the killer comes out of the closet and kills one of them.


How come there’s no scene where some ugly fat spic is eating dinner with his family and gets killed? They always make it appealing and “fun” and not relatable
