Around 90% of the girls act in a very predictable manner and they go for what all the others go for: looks/status/money.
10% however are different - maybe they are crazy, maybe they are on drugs, maybe they suffered some sort of abuse or just want to be rebellious, independent, and do the opposite of what the other girls do. The thing is you can't really know what exactly they are looking for, they can have some very specific, weird or completely random requirements in the guys they want, that you might or might not have, so there is no general guide or strategy on how to attract these kind of girls, the only thing you can do is simply to play the numbers game and approach as many girls as possible and you could eventually get lucky with one of them.
It happened to me, I had for several months a petite goth girlfriend that was way out of my league, she was hot but also pretty unstable, on drugs and worked as a cam girl.
