Just look at this gif
345tgf

In downward growth face back of maxilla is shortened and front is lenghtened what cause long middle third and overall shit apperance.
Pulling downward MSE which is at the back of palate will lenghten back of maxilla and rotate/shortened front. Also occlusal will be straight and ramus should be straight
Pulling MSE upward would only increase horse midface look.
We can't have base on Won Moon study from 2015 cause here MARPE was used as well as n2 microimplant. There upward angle compress maxilla but its not gonna happen with MSE .

@retard @nelson thought?
I am worried if @ retard pull upward at the back of palate IT would do this to him.
Still I really want to hear his opinion+ his progress in MSE

lol @ their autistic opinions

the op is objectively correct, dk why its so revolutionary. mse is a type of marpe too so they shouldnt rly be considered separate things.

nah ur right but ive been saying -5 degree angle + frontal mewing is ideal for months now

in some of my older threads i said upwards was best but u cant edit shit after like 10 mins on here so it probably caused some confusion

I am on turn 3 atm, so no split yet

I understand
Keep US update
I am only afraid what if your sutures won't split
You have nearby some GOOD ortho?
And how would you tell him that you installed IT on yourself?

lol im only 18 so i will 95% get a split with slow protocal, i am chewing alot to further stress the suture to encourage a split, and if i do not split by day 15 i will begin thumbpull to further stress it

But you can get IT custom?
Like decide by your ortho how far back install IT?

mse is directly in front of the soft palate and the reason it is there is because it is ideal for paralleled expansion. So the only option is to place it farther forward. I also just wanna mention, since the AP width is really large, MSE will always be in the center of the maxilla. no matter the position

I think the vomer gets jammed in and is one of the limiting factors if you pull at an upwards angle.

this mse/facepull thing is so intriguing, because it's something kinda new, but we are also fucking laboratory mices, because we generally know shit about this jfl

really can't wait to see some before/afters

what about pushing up on the front of the palate?

Does this apply to face pulling too
