everyone tries to act like theyre damaged from being hit as a kid. I mean I was beat but it didn't damage me. I was just beat it's not that big a deal getting slapped once in a while by the teacher cmon now.

It sucks bc it's not something you can whine about and get sympathy, like people who have been sexually assaulted do.

People often like to joke about based parent slapped the little brat and taught them discipline and respect, but it's almost never like that, it's mostly a parent with mental issues who violently lashes out at the kid over nothingburgers.
